The Human Element
Behind the architecture audits and the strategy, I am Louis (Lou) Tortora, a 25-year veteran of the Telco and Industry 4.0 sectors. But more importantly, I am a husband to my wife Tanya and a father to a blended family of eight beautiful children—five of mine and three of hers.
My roots run deep. Born in New Jersey, 1980, to parents who married in Elizabeth two years prior, I am a product of their sacrifice. My mother is a naturalized Cuban American, and my father is a naturalized Uruguayan of Italian descent. As an American, I enjoy the fruits of the labor they sacrificed for me to be here.
I was raised in Florida after moving here in 1989 and am a proud graduate of Coral Springs High (Class of 1999). While my adult life saw me venture back north to Jersey and through Georgia, Florida called me home in 2006. I’ve been planting roots here ever since.
My kids are what drive me. Just being present, watching them grow and take on the values I’ve tried to instill is a daily source of zenful awe. While I am obsessed with optimizing your infrastructure for speed and resilience, I know the value of unplugging.
My "reset" button is simple: laughing at Spaceballs reruns, riding my bike through a quiet nature trail, or just breathing the fresh ocean air of the West Florida beaches.
